And Usted También was a really small production – with a crew of 10 people shot over the 8 hours in August of 2025. Since we wanted to have as small footprint as possible as we shooting on a residential street in Los Angeles, it was imperative that our camera package be as low profile without sacrificing cinematic quality or look.
Our DP Emilia Mendieta Córdova had seen the Cooke SP3s at CineGear earlier that year and was really impressed by look they had in combination with the Sony FX3 and how compact the whole build was.
We decided that they would be a perfect fit for our little quirky comedy – enhancing the portraiture of our talent’s faces while allowing us to be small and mobile while on location.
AND USTED TAMBIEN just had its world premiere at LALIFF 2025 as part of the EIGHT STEP PROGRAM – Shorts Program 4.
