DOP’s Perspective:

Our shoot was largely guerrilla-style and handheld, filmed across live locations over two days.
We needed a kit that was lightweight and easy to operate, which made the Sony FX3 paired with the Cooke SP3 the perfect choice.

The depth of field was incredible it helped us beautifully blur out unwanted areas, especially in uncontrolled environments. The bokeh’s and close shots from the wide lenses were a visual treat.

Even at T2.4, the lens delivered impressive depth and character.

The texture of the Cooke SP3 is smooth, with natural, gentle flaring. Its compact, pocket-sized design made it effortless to move around, and the manual focus pull felt precise and intuitive truly enhancing our shooting experience.

About the Music Video:

Jaadu’ is a story of two strangers whose shared pain acts as a cupid and when the paths of these two souls lost in life’s atrocities meet, Jaadu” happens. Every day, they transform themselves into golden, motionless figures, posing for hours on bustling streets, hoping to earn meagre amounts from passersby who spare a moment to marvel at their artistry or drop a coin into their jars. The golden makeup they wear to hide their true selves becomes a metaphor for their relationship:
