We are pleased to announce that from November 14, we are opening our new gallery exhibition at Cooke London: COLOUR.
In cinema, colour is more than just an aesthetic choice in filmmaking – it’s a powerful storytelling tool, an emotional guide, and a vehicle for meaning. Every hue, every shade, and every contrast within a film can be carefully chosen to craft a particular mood, invoke specific emotions, or symbolise deeper themes.
In this exhibition, we invite you to explore the intricate role that colour can play in life and particularly in cinema. Here, you will find films and explainers presented chronologically where colour becomes a character in its own right.
The exhibition is officially open to the public from November 14 and you can visit Monday – Friday, 10:00 – 17:00.
