A thrilling crime entertainer where tragedy, betrayal and unexpected chaos pulls Chotu and Kittu into danger.
“Choosing anamorphic lenses over the more common spherical ones was a deliberate decision. Beyond the characteristic flares and wider field of view, they helped create a larger-than-life visual scale that contrasted beautifully with the character’s small, confined world.”Aditya Javvadi, Director of Photography

The story centers on a young middle-class man who is constantly struggling to improve his life and provide for his family. In his pursuit of quick and effortless money, he becomes entangled in a chain of risky decisions.

What begins as a small attempt to change his circumstances soon pulls him into a dangerous world he never intended to step into. The film explores how he fights his way out of this growing conundrum, how he confronts forces far beyond his control, and ultimately how he manages to safeguard his family.

At its heart, the narrative is about extraordinary and unpredictable events unfolding in the life of an otherwise ordinary individual someone relatable, vulnerable, and human.

Visually, I wanted the film to feel grounded yet cinematic, capturing the emotional weight of his journey through a textured, film-like aesthetic. Cooke anamorphic lenses played a crucial role in shaping this vision.

Their signature warmth and softness brought a unique character to everyday settings, elevating even the simplest environments with a subtle richness. The lenses allowed me to amplify tension by bringing an intimate closeness to the characters, letting the audience feel their fear, desperation, and determination more deeply.

Choosing anamorphic lenses over the more common spherical ones was a deliberate decision. Beyond the characteristic flares and wider field of view, they helped create a larger-than-life visual scale that contrasted beautifully with the character’s small, confined world.

This contrast added emotional weight, making the stakes feel bigger and the journey more immersive. The Cooke anamorphics ultimately allowed the story to breathe visually not only enhancing the texture but also enriching the storytelling with a cinematic depth that aligns perfectly with the film’s tone and themes.
