For this commercial, I chose to shoot on Cooke lenses paired with the Sony Venice 2 Rialto setup, I know these lenses inside out, and the Rialto makes the camera much lighter, which really helps with handheld work. Especially while shooting with babies, it made movement and manoeuvring much easier and more fluid.
What I love about Cooke lenses is the softness and natural warmth they bring to faces. Since this project involved babies and parents, that quality felt just right for the tone we wanted. They have this gentle, forgiving nature, which really helps in capturing skin tones beautifully.
