Cooke Anamorphic/i is a truly innovative range and the subject of multiple patents. They are for large format production and exemplify anamorphic characteristics combined with The Cooke Look™ including oval bokeh.
The Anamorphic/i FF lenses feature a novel hybrid spherical and cylindrical lens element design. It produces a traditional organic, cinematic and anamorphic wide screen quality, which is characterised by smooth, elliptical bokeh and minimal colour fringing to enable you to create sensitive and emotive images with a high degree of dimensionality.
When specifying your Cooke Anamorphic/i FF, you have the option to have the lens manufactured with a proprietary coating that allows you to kick flares, bokeh and other aberrations into new visual territory.

Cooke’s /i Technology enables cameras to automatically record key lens data for every frame shot, allowing post-production teams to access it digitally. Featuring key information on lens setting, focusing distance, aperture and depth-of-field, hyperfocal distance, serial number and more, it streamlines production and post and saves time and cost to eliminate guesswork.
Anamorphic lenses are deeply complex to manufacture. Greater anamorphic insights and measurements are taken to ensure absolute quality.

The lenses are designed to provide maximum performance at full aperture. The optics feature a 1.8x squeeze factor for full frame formats up to 2.7:1 aspect ratio and a 1.8:1 bokeh shape.
Ergonomically designed to have smooth and accurate travel – whilst utilising precision mechanics to provide a consistent feel in operation through the entire focus movement.
The Cooke /i Technology ecosystem provides critical lens metadata such as focus and iris position. Suitable for the most modern VFX applications such as Virtual Production shooting.
All Anamorphic/i FF lenses are colour balanced and colour matched – ensuring consistency across the series.
We offer a choice of PL and LPL camera mount options, designed specifically for use with our lenses.

Cooke Anamorphic/i FF provide an aperture range of T2.3-T22 (85mm MACRO T2.8 -T22, 180mm T2.9-T22).
Every focus mark is individually calibrated and engraved on both sides of the focus barrel for ease of use.
All Anamorphic/i FF series lenses have standardised 0.8 MOD focus and iris drive gears.
The Anamorphic/i FF series of prime lenses feature a nine-leaf linear module iris assembly and dual matched iris scales.
Every Cooke lens is coated with a scratch resistant PTFE hard anodised finish, which provides a durable, hard-wearing surface to meet the most demanding environmental conditions.
