DOP’s Perspective:
Shooting a web series in just 11 days was no small challenge. We had 5 episodes, each around 20 minutes long, which meant long days, quick turnarounds, and no room for compromise.
To keep the pace without losing cinematic quality, I needed a camera setup that was fast, nimble, and reliable. That’s why I turned to my most trusted lens system — the Cooke SP3.
The SP3 gave us exactly what the project demanded: a compact, easy-to-handle build for quick setups, and at the same time, the unmistakable “Cooke Look” — natural skin tones, smooth falloff, and a cinematic character that held the story together across all five episodes.
In the end, the SP3 system proved to be more than just a technical choice. It became a creative partner, without ever losing the visual soul of the series.
