DOP’s Perspective:

For Itti Si Khushi, I decided to go with the Cooke SP3 lenses as they naturally carry the signature Cooke Look that pleasing balance of warmth, contrast, and softness.

The SP3s delivered exactly what I was looking for: soft and flattering skin tones, yet with crisp details and a beautiful roll-off in the highlights.

On set, I found the lenses to be extremely reliable and lightweight, which made them easy to work with during long shooting hours. The way they handled light, and flares added a subtle cinematic touch without feeling overdone.

Their seamless compatibility with the Sony mount was another big advantage I could mount them directly without any adapter issues or compromises.

Overall, the SP3s helped me maintain a consistent visual tone throughout the series. They gave the images a polished yet natural feel, making them a solid choice for this kind of storytelling.”

About the Series:

Anvita, a young caregiver, shoulders the burden of raising her five siblings amidst their father’s negligence and alcoholism. As she navigates her responsibilities and growing attachment to Virat, she’s also supported by Sanjay, a loyal childhood friend turned police inspector, who harbors unrequited feelings for her.

Torn between duty and desire, Anvita faces trials that test her endurance, forcing her to make treacherous choices between Virat’s passion and Sanjay’s quiet devotion.
