This commercial is for a Jewellery brand “MJR Jewels Rajkot”
There were two films to be shot in a day.
First one was a Diwali Film, and the second one was a Bridal one. Both have been shot on the beautiful Cooke S7i lens.
This post features the Bridal Narrative.
When i was hired for this commercial the creative challenge for me was to design two completely different visual languages within one space while maintaining elegance, emotion, and product clarity.
The obvious preference was “Cooke ” Lens
I chose Cooke S7i lenses on a Large Format camera for:
Controlled shallow depth
• Rich, organic, creamy bokeh
• Exceptional sharpness for jewellery detailing
• Signature Cooke skin tone reproduction
The storyline revolves around a pre-wedding night and the emotional exchange between a father and daughter. The lens helped me to maintain emotional depth while keeping product focus intact something crucial for a jewellery brand. The Cooke s7i added a perfect tinge of glamour to it.
This is many of my jewellery commercial and always my preference goes towards Cooke. In one word Cooke S7i strikes the perfect balance between glamour and precision.
